Monday morning download

- I've got a huge week ahead. Two messages to write. One for HYPE on Wednesday. One on the Baggage of Envy for this coming Sunday. Looking forward to both.
- Had a great time with the Crosspoint small group leaders yesterday. These folks are at the front lines of ministry and care. I love and appreciate them so much.
- I love the fact that my wife and kids are content to sit down and watch basketball with me. It proves the brainwashing has been effective thus far. :)
- Found plane tickets for cheap to fly to Atlanta in October for Catalyst. Can't wait to go with friends! And get there in 90 minutes.
- Trying my best to assess what I spend my time on and how I can be more effective as a leader right now.
- People dropped some heavy stuff at the cross yesterday, relating to the baggage of bitterness. I pray God helps people to walk in freedom now, and daily surrender this stuff back to God.
- I need to take time this week to get a handle on the new people who have come into Crosspoint and invite them to take a 'next step' of membership, serving, and community.
- Thanks for reading the story yesterday Joel. A new voice really adds something.
- Growing the 'goat' back right now. It should be fully grown in my August of this year.
- Looking forward to hosting Easter in the gym at the Middle School. Praying we see 350 adults and children attend our service. I believe God can do it! Also, praying we see several people commit their lives to Jesus at Easter.
